Family Emergency Service Fund

Cancer is expensive – in many ways. Cancer is devastating emotionally. Through our financial assistance programmes, we try to help prevent cancer from being financially devastating as well. Cancer Recovery Foundation helps families in need by paying past-due rent, utility bills, and travel expenses to and from treatment.

£500 limit per family per year

Applications MUST include original or copy of the bill(s) or travel expense(s) receipts. Emergency services requests are limited to a past due utility, telephone bill or rent. No cable television bills, medical bills, prescription co-pays or insurance will be covered. Travel expenses are only for those incurred to and from treatment. The maximum payment is £500.00, one time per calendar year, per family. All bills and receipts must be sent or faxed in with the application. The cheque will be made payable to the creditor. The cheque will be sent to the patient’s family to be submitted with their next payment. Only £500.00 per family per year will be considered.
