Children With Cancer

We have received messages of thanks from those who have received gift bags funded by your generous support. read messages of thanks...
What can we do to help children with cancer?
Helping children to remain positive throughout their treatment is essential to their wellbeing. They need toys and books to distract them from their fears, to allow them to interact with each other, and to express their feelings when talking to play therapists.
To make this possible, we send them gift bags, from you, three times a year. These gifts go directly to paediatric wards across the country where nurses have asked for our support. They reach thousands of children, and help to make them smile.
You can read some of the thank you notes we have been sent, right here. Also read some case studies.
What can we do to help the families of children with cancer?
Because we know that a child with cancer needs caring for, we help to pay the bills that parents can no longer afford. This can be for a red demand for an inflated heating bill or the phone bill so that they are not cut-off from the outside world.
Can I do anything?
Yes, through fundraising and donations. Each gift bag that we send costs £17. If you are able to donate that every month through direct debit, it will help us to send gifts to even more children.
The household bills are also expensive, and heating a family’s home costs us an average of £200.
Can I donate toys and gifts?
If you are a business and can provide us with free toys, that would be fantastic. It would make a huge difference to us and the children. Please get in touch and we can talk about a sponsorship or partnership. If you are an individual, then I am afraid that we cannot accept your help. This is because receiving and redistributing the toys to thousands of children would cost us significant amounts of money. You can however, buy a bear or a whole gift bag for a child through our shop. This will then be sent out in our next batch. Thank you.
